Professional Development

A core function of FPSA is the continual development and education of advisers. FPSA provides a structured training and education program to meet CPD requirements. Each adviser has an individual training plan highlighting the required CPD points in each knowledge area, for example superannuation, insurance, managed investments and shares.

The main method of accumulating CPD points is via the Rainmaker Group’s Custom CPD Program, which publishes a number of articles each month sourced from a variety of industry publications. Each article includes an assessment and applicable CPD points, which are credited to the adviser’s record.

Advisers can also accumulate CPD points by attending training and information sessions, either provided by external bodies (such as the FPA or fund managers) or FPSA.
